Pack if you can
Ok, if you have packed all the essential items and you still have room in the car, think about some of these things, kinda little luxuries which will make your weekend that little bit better.
The Airbed.
This little beauty is excellent for those who like their sleep time. There's certainly no fun in sleeping on a hard floor, and these fold away for excellent storage. Take a foot pump aswell if space allows, if not, get blowing!!
The folding chair.
You will find throughout the weekend that you need somewhere to sit. The floor is fine at first, but when its wet and muddy or you are down at the arena and want a rest, the floor is crap and it makes your back ache. I am definately taking a fold away chair this time, and if space permits, i advise you do the same.
Stove, cooking utensils and Q.T.
These items are borderline between essentials and pack if you can, but after long deliberation we reckonned we could just about manage without cooking our own food or making our own tea, if you wanted to walk to the burger bars all the time and had a lot of cash. Just make some room for these items, a cup of instant tea is good stuff in the morning.
Tunes and tunebox.
Another borderline but music cant really be classed as essential, you could go without it, but we always take a chunebox and some grooves. Get someone to make a compilation tape or two, (me) take a small tape player and extra batteries.
Bin bags.
The big black ones These come in handy for many things. Rubbish, sitting on, rain coats, being sick in, carrying stuff, patching up holes etc etc etc.
Take some and I guarantee you will use them.
Toiletries.
Now this sounds gay but trust me, by the last morning, you will look, smell and feel, quite literally like shit. A quick spray of deodorant can make all the difference, while a flannel and a toothbrush make you feel like royalty. Beware the pisstakers though, people will be so jealous when you pull these babies out that you will undoubtedly suffer a barrage of abuse. Either take it like a clean man, or do it in the privacy of your tent.
